These annual awards are open to

all young musicians up to the age of 20

in Edinburgh and the Lothians

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the Trust are to encourage musical excellence in individuals in the Edinburgh area (as defined by an EH postcode), taking into consideration their financial circumstances.

APPLICATIONS

Applications are invited from musicians who are still at school, but the Trustees are willing to consider applications from young people who have just left school.

To apply for an award, please write a letter to the Trustees of The Colin O'Riordan Trust, stating why you would like an award, your family circumstances and the name and telephone number of your Head of Music or Headteacher who may be asked to act as a referee for you.
